Description
There are two kinds of chromium plating, one is decorative chromium and the other is hard chromium. Hard chromium plating is a better way to increase the surface hardness, but it has many advantages and disadvantages, so it is not used in many cases.
Advantage:1、 Good surface finish.
2、 No rust, no rust.
3、 During the plating process, the deformation of the original parts is small.
4、 If the size of hardware parts is not in place, you can add a few wires of chromium to achieve the size (this is an advantage, but also a disadvantage, so the parts to be chrome plated need to put the margin).
5、 The surface is beautiful.
Disadvantages:
1、 The price is high, not only the cost of plating is high, but also the reprocessing after plating.
2、 Not suitable for parts with complex surface.
3、 The thickness is too thin, generally only about 0.05-0.15mm.
4、 The requirements for the surface finish of parts are relatively high
